A 10 day practice for Mums to learn how to gain access to a state of mind, body and heart that will enable them to parent in more calm, confident and joyful ways. Through mindfulness and the cultivation of gratitude, compassion and connection, participants will learn how to be present to both the joys and challenges of motherhood.
Accepting where you are right now
Mums will learn about what being a mindful mother actually means, they will enjoy a relaxing body scan and reflect upon their current experience of motherhood, including the joys and the challenges.
Using your breath to calm, sooth and center
Mums will learn how to use their breath to calm and center themselves and to take pause in stressful parenting situations, so that they can respond appropriately rather than simply react.
Feeling relaxed, safe and centered amidst the busyness of life.
Mums will learn how to feel safe and centered even amidst the busyness of life as a mother.
Becoming present by activating your senses
Mums will learn how to engage their senses as a way of relaxing, slowing down their thoughts and cultivating greater presence towards themselves and their children.
Noticing your thoughts
Mums will get to know their thoughts and be introduced to the idea that we are not our thoughts, we are the awareness that notices our thoughts.
Taming your Inner Critic
Mums will learn how to tame their inner critic and develop practical strategies to challenge these negative thought patterns as a way of increasing happiness and wellbeing.
Feeling grateful for your body
Mums will examine various aspects of their lives as a way of cultivating gratitude for the life that is here for them, right now.

Experiencing greater connection
Mums will learn how to experience greater connection towards themselves and others through a practice of loving kindness.
Course reflections and intention setting
Participants will reflect on what they have learnt about themselves, their families and mindfulness practice, and have an opportunity to think about ways they can continue to weave mindfulness into their lives.
